How to Analyze Any X Account
Enter the handle
Your own account, a competitor, a creator you might hire, or any public profile.
Run the audit
The analyzer reads the profile, X’s About this account data, up to 60 recent original posts and both shadowban tests. It takes about 20 seconds.

How the Account Score Is Calculated
The score adds up six components, each from 0 to 100, weighted by how much they matter for growth:
- Activity20%
- Engagement30%
- Reach20%
- Consistency10%
- Visibility10%
- Profile10%
Score = 20% Activity + 30% Engagement + 20% Reach + 10% Consistency + 10% Visibility + 10% Profile
| Component | Weight | Measured as |
|---|---|---|
| Activity | 20% | Original posts per week over the last 90 days |
| Engagement | 30% | Median engagement rate by views, against accounts of the same size |
| Reach | 20% | Median views divided by followers, against accounts of the same size |
| Consistency | 10% | Share of the last 13 weeks with at least one post |
| Visibility | 10% | Search ban and search suggestion ban tests |
| Profile | 10% | Custom avatar, bio, link and pinned post |
Engagement and reach are compared within size bands, because a 500-follower account and a 5-million-follower account behave differently. The benchmarks come from Sorsa’s own measurements of active public accounts in each band.
The benchmark table for each size band is being measured and will appear here with its date. Until then, engagement and reach are shown in every report’s metrics but left out of the score, and the report says the score is based on 4 of 6 components.
A score is a summary. The component bars and metrics underneath are where the useful detail is.

Free Twitter Analytics for Another Account
X’s own Analytics dashboard shows detailed numbers only to the account owner, and only with Premium. For anyone else’s account, you need public data. It goes further than most people expect: views, likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks on every post, plus posting times, formats and the About this account facts. This analyzer turns all of that into one report.
What the public can see (in this audit)
- Views on every post
- Likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks
- Posting times, by weekday and hour
- Formats: text, photo, video, link and quote
- X’s About this account facts
What only the owner sees (X Analytics, Premium)
- Impressions by source
- Profile visits
- Link clicks
- Follower demographics
- Video retention
What stays private: impressions by source, profile visits, link clicks, follower demographics and video retention. No outside tool can see those. Tools that claim to estimate “earnings” or “audience personality” are guessing.
How to Improve Each Part of the Score
Activity
20%Post original content at least 3 times a week. Reposts don’t count, so write, quote with a comment, or post media.
Engagement
30%Ask real questions, share specific data or experience, and end posts with something worth replying to. Avoid engagement bait, which X can penalize.
Reach
20%Use formats that travel: images, short videos and threads that people save and quote. Post when your audience is active; the rhythm heatmap shows when that is.
Consistency
10%A steady schedule beats bursts. Even one good post a week keeps the consistency score up.
Visibility
10%If a shadowban test fails, pause automation and repetitive links for a few days. The shadowban guide has the full recovery steps.
Profile
10%Add a clear photo, a bio that says who you are, a link and a pinned post. It is the fastest 10 points to gain.
Why This Audit Checks Visibility and Authenticity Too
Most profile analyzers stop at engagement. That misses two questions that decide whether the numbers mean anything: can people actually find this account, and is it what it appears to be?
| Check | Typical profile analyzers | This audit |
|---|---|---|
| Score weights published | No | Yes |
| Shadowban tests included | No | Yes, search and suggestion |
| Based-in country, username changes, Premium timing | No | Yes, from X’s About data |
| Data timestamp shown | Rarely | Always |
| Personality archetypes and earnings guesses | Often | Never |
Account Audits at Scale With the API
Agencies audit dozens of creators before a campaign, and brands report on their own accounts every month. All of the data in this report comes from four Sorsa API endpoints:
- /info and /about for the profile and About facts;
- /user-tweets for recent posts;
- /check-shadowban for visibility.
- About 6 requests per full audit, at 20 requests per second
- Your own weights and benchmarks, or ours
- Schedule weekly runs for trend reports
- 100 free requests to start: about 16 full audits, no card
import requests, statistics H = {"ApiKey": "YOUR_API_KEY"} B = "https://api.sorsa.io/v3" info = requests.get(f"{B}/info", headers=H, params={"username": "nasa"}).json() posts = requests.post(f"{B}/user-tweets", headers=H, json={"username": "nasa", "with_replies": False}).json()["tweets"] views = [t.get("view_count", 0) for t in posts if not t.get("retweeted_status")] print(info["followers_count"], statistics.median(views))

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I analyze a Twitter account for free?
Enter the handle above. The analyzer reads the profile, the About this account data, up to 60 recent original posts and both shadowban tests, and returns a 0 to 100 score with six components, plus the metrics, top posts and tips behind it. No login needed.
Can I see Twitter analytics for another account?
Yes, the public part. Views, likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks are public for every post, and the analyzer summarizes them for any account. Private numbers such as profile visits and link clicks are visible only to the owner in X Analytics.
How is the account score calculated?
It is a weighted sum of six components: activity 20%, engagement 30%, reach 20%, consistency 10%, visibility 10% and profile 10%. Engagement and reach are compared with accounts of the same size. The full formula and benchmarks are published on this page.
What is a good score?
Scores compare an account with its own size band, so a small account can score as high as a large one. Rather than chasing a number, look at the lowest component bar: it shows where the account has the most room to improve.
How many posts does the audit use?
Up to the latest 60 original posts, without replies or reposts, from the last 90 days. Accounts that post less use whatever is available, and the report says so.
Does it check for shadowbans?
Yes. Every audit runs the search ban and search suggestion ban tests, the same ones as the free Shadowban Checker.
Does it estimate how much an account earns?
No. X does not publish payout rates, so any earnings estimate is a guess. To check whether an account meets X’s payout requirements, use the X Monetization Checker.
Will the account know I analyzed it?
No. The audit reads public data only and never interacts with the account.
Is this Twitter analyzer free?
Yes. You get 3 free audits a day, which reset at 00:00 UTC, with no login.
Can I audit many accounts at once?
Yes, through the Sorsa API: about 6 requests per full audit, at 20 requests per second, and 100 free requests to start.
