How Much Should You Charge for a Sponsored Tweet?
Sponsors pay for attention, so start from the views a typical post gets, not the follower count:
- Find the median views per post. This page does it for you, with viral outliers set aside.
- Pick a price per 1,000 views (CPM). Niche, audience quality and country all move it. $5 is a cautious starting point, $10 a middle one and $20 a strong one for engaged, focused audiences.
- Multiply: median views ÷ 1,000 × CPM.
Then adjust for what the brand gets beyond views. Engagement is the easy one: turn on the adjustment to scale the price between half and double, based on how often people react compared to a 2% baseline.
Twitter Money Calculator: What Your Posts Could Earn From Sponsors
There are two different kinds of money on X, and calculators often mix them up:
- Sponsorships: brands pay you directly to post about them. This calculator estimates that.
- X’s creator payouts: X shares revenue with eligible Premium creators. The amount depends on engagement from Premium subscribers, not on a fixed rate per view. Check eligibility with the X Monetization Checker.
The annual figure above multiplies the price per post by the number of sponsored posts you choose. Two a month is a realistic start for most creators, and posting more ads than normal content usually hurts views.
Paid Partnership Posts: How Sponsored Content Performs
Since March 2, 2026, creators can mark sponsored posts with X’s Paid partnership label. This calculator is the first to use it: it compares the median views of the creator’s labelled posts with their normal posts.
- Close to normal or better: the audience accepts sponsored content, a strong signal for brands.
- Much lower: the audience skips ads, and the price per post should reflect that.
To look through a creator’s sponsored history, use the Sponsored Posts Finder.
How Much Is a 100K Follower Twitter Account Worth?
It depends entirely on views. Three accounts with 100,000 followers each can differ tenfold:
| Followers | Median views | Price per post at $10 CPM |
|---|---|---|
| 100,000 | 2,000 | $20 |
| 100,000 | 12,000 | $120 |
| 100,000 | 40,000 | $400 |
Follower-based rules of thumb, such as $0.50 to $1.50 per 1,000 followers, would price all three the same, which is why they mislead. Enter a handle above to see where an account really sits.
Can You Sell a Twitter Account?
There’s no official market. X has no way to transfer an account to a new owner, and SuperX’s own calculator says the same: accounts "can’t officially be bought or sold". Buying accounts or followers also carries real risk of suspension under X’s rules on platform manipulation.
So this page doesn’t estimate a resale price. It estimates what an account’s attention is worth to sponsors, and that is the number you can actually earn.
Price Many Creators at Once With the API
Agencies price whole rosters before a campaign. The Sorsa API returns each post’s views, engagement counts and the paid_partnership flag, so you can run this formula for every creator on a list: about 4 requests per account, at 20 requests per second. Influencer API has more ways to use it.
- Views, engagement and paid_partnership per post
- About 4 requests per account
- 100 free requests to start, no card

How much is my Twitter account worth?
To sponsors, it’s worth about your median views per post ÷ 1,000 × the price per 1,000 views in your niche. Enter your handle above to see the number, the range and the formula.
How much should I charge for a sponsored tweet?
Start from your median views per post, multiply by a price per 1,000 views ($5 to $20 is a common range), and adjust for engagement. The calculator shows all three steps with your numbers.
How much is a 100k follower Twitter account worth?
It depends on views, not followers. A 100,000-follower account whose posts get 2,000 views earns far less per post than one whose posts get 40,000. Check the real median views above.
How much does Twitter pay for 1 million views?
X doesn’t pay a fixed rate per view. Creator payouts depend on engagement from Premium subscribers and on eligibility rules. Check them with the X Monetization Checker. Sponsorships, which this page estimates, are paid by brands.
Can I sell my Twitter account?
There’s no official way to sell or transfer an X account, and buying accounts or followers can get them suspended. This calculator estimates sponsorship value, not a resale price.
What CPM should I use?
There’s no public market rate. Use $5 for broad or low-engagement audiences, $10 as a middle ground and $20 for engaged, niche audiences, then adjust with the slider to match real offers.
Why does this use views instead of followers?
Because sponsors pay for people seeing the post, and many followers never do. Views show the attention a post actually gets.
Is it free?
Yes. You get 5 free estimates a day, reset at 00:00 UTC, and moving the sliders is always free.
