How to Find Sponsored Posts on X
For an influencer
Enter the handle, scan their last 80 posts, and see every post they labeled as a Paid partnership or tagged #ad. You also see the brands involved and how those posts performed.
For a brand
Enter the brand’s @handle or name to see the creators who published sponsored posts about it, with each creator’s audience and results.
How X Marks Sponsored Posts
Since March 2026, X has had a native Paid partnership label. Creators turn it on when they post, or add it later from the post’s menu, and it can name the brand: "Paid partnership with @Brand". Before that, and still today, many creators disclose with hashtags such as #ad, #sponsored or #partner. The finder reads both: the label as the main signal, and the hashtags as a secondary one, shown separately.
To check single posts, use the Post Label Checker.

Why Brands and Agencies Use It
Before hiring a creator
See how often they run sponsored posts, which brands they have worked with (including your competitors), and whether their sponsored posts hold their audience.
Competitive research
Enter a competitor’s brand to see which creators it works with on X and which of those posts perform.
Disclosure checks
Find posts about your brand that carry #ad but not the official label, or the other way round, and align creators on disclosure.
What the Finder Cannot Tell You
- Undisclosed deals. If a creator didn’t label or tag a post, it looks organic here too. A missing label is not proof that there was no payment.
- Deal prices. How much a sponsored post cost is never public.
- Every campaign ever. Brand mode reads recent posts that X search returns. Older campaigns may not appear.
Monitor Sponsored Posts at Scale With the API
Every post object in the Sorsa API includes paid_partnership and made_with_ai. To monitor a roster of creators, or every creator mentioning a brand, collect posts with /user-tweets or /search-tweets and filter by the label. It costs a few requests per creator, at 20 requests per second, with 100 free requests to start.
